Adjunct Consultant Services

Adjunct Consultant Services are offered by experienced leaders with expertise in many areas.

bullet Board/Council/Committee retreats for visioning and goal setting
bullet Lifespan Religious Education
bullet Youth & Young Adult Programs
bullet Conflict Management
bullet Professional Leadership Transition (start-ups, exit and transition interviews) This service is provided free of charge to fair and full-share congregations.

Adjunct Consultants are supported by the District, which covers the expense of their initial and continuing education, and handles requests for consultations.

Fee Schedule

Services are compensated per unit of time. One unit is defined as a third of a day - a morning, an afternoon, or an evening - an approximate average of three hours of service time. Preparation or follow-up may entail additional units of time.

Adjunct Consultants receive an honorarium of $125 per unit from the congregation and are reimbursed by the congregation for food and lodging where necessary. Home hospitality may be provided if agreeable to the consultant, and if it would not compromise neutrality.

The District will reimburse the consultant for the cost of travel within District policy. Consultants file for reimbursement by submitting a standard expense report and a consulting form to the District office within 45 days of completion of service.  Congregations that have not contributed their Full Share to the District or their Fair Share to the UUA Annual Program Fund (for the most recently completed fiscal year) are responsible for all Adjunct Consultant expenses, including travel.
