| Annual Program Fund |
|
|
| The UUA’s
Annual
Program Fund (also known as APF) is the fund to which member
congregations pledge and contribute each year in support of our
Unitarian Universalist Association’s operating budget. The APF
contributions represent nearly 50% of the undesignated funding that
makes up the budget, providing for our Association’s many essential
programs, services, and support for districts. In association, we
can do together what a single congregation could not accomplish
alone, such as settlement and support of religious professionals,
curriculum development, publications and online resource
distribution, social justice advocacy, and witness in the wider
world. |
| |
| As one of our covenantal partners,
your congregation is asked to make an annual contribution in keeping
with the fiscal year cycle: |
 |
Complete and submit the APF intended contribution form to
the APF office by June 15 each year. These forms are mailed
to congregations at the end of May each year. |
 |
For fiscal year 2011-2012, the Fair Share amount is $58 per
certified member (reported by congregations on or before
February 1, 2011). |
 |
Fiscal year 2011-2012 contributions are those received
between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012, with monthly and/or
quarterly statements provided throughout the year. |
 |
Fair Share Annual Program Fund contributions mailed by June
10 each fiscal year will ensure your congregation’s
delegates will receive the appropriate APF recognition
ribbons at that year’s General Assembly. |
