. . . The Spring 2004 Chalice Lighters Call raised more than $27,000 -- a record-setting amount! -- to help the UU Congregation of Danbury (CT) build their new home in downtown Danbury.

. . . The UU Church at Washington Crossing (Titusville NJ) successfully added a second Sunday morning service.

. . . The Religious Institute on Sexuality, Justice, and Healing, headed by the Rev. Debra W. Haffner, has just published A Time to Build: Creating Sexually Health Faith Communities, a new theological framework on marriage equality for same sex couples. The Rev. Haffner is Community Minnister at the Unitarian Church in Westport (CT).

 
Transitions and Milestones
 
The following religious educators have completed five Renaissance Modules this year, and will be acknowledged in their congregations with a certificate and pin. Congratulations to all!

The Rev. Frank Hall is marking his 20th year at the Unitarian Church in Westport (CT) with a celebratory luncheon on Sunday, October 24. Frank arrived from a long tenure at Murray Universalist Church in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and has seen the Westport congregation grow from 350 to nearly 700 today. Congratulations!.  
 
The Rev. Bruce Southworth was honored with a reception in recognition of his 25 years of ministry at the Community Church of New York UU (Manhattan).
 
Alison Miller will be ordained by the Unitarian Church of All Souls (Manhattan) on October 17 at 4:00 p.m. All are invited.
 
The Rev. Tony Johnson, Consulting Minister for the First UU Church of Essex County (Orange NJ), will be honored November 12 with a Community Leadership Award presented by Housing and Neighborhood Development Services.
 
The Rev. Paul Ratzlaff will be installed by the UU Fellowship of Huntington (NY) on November 7 at 4:00 pm.
